ClaimShare

Europe’s first platform for collective consumer claims

What is ClaimShare?

13 years of consumer advocacy — now at European scale

ClaimShare builds on the work of Bilklager.no, Norway’s largest consumer complaint platform, operating since 2013. Over 13 years we have assembled more than 14,500 participants and fought their cases through the Norwegian court system — with a track record of NOK 500 million to 1 billion recovered for consumers from banks, car manufacturers and brokerage firms.

Now we are taking this work to the European level. ClaimShare is a blockchain-based platform that aggregates small consumer claims into powerful, coordinated lawsuits. We start with Diesel Endgame — the largest diesel compensation case in European history — and will expand to all types of consumer cases.

⚖️

Strength in numbers

We aggregate thousands of individual claims into collective lawsuits. Together, consumers have bargaining power against large corporations.

🔒

No risk to you

You pay nothing upfront. On success, 65% of the compensation goes directly to you.

🌍

All of Europe

Through the EU’s Representative Actions Directive (RAD), cross-border collective litigation is now possible across all member states.

🚗 Diesel Endgame — Our first major case

More than 53 million diesel vehicles in Europe have illegal emissions software (ICCT, 2023). ClaimShare aggregates the claims and fights for compensation through European courts.

🇪🇺 The EU Commission confirms our right

3.5 years of official correspondence with DG Justice and Consumers

ClaimShare’s founder has maintained a direct dialogue with the European Commission’s Directorate for Justice and Consumers since 2022. Through three official letters, the Commission has confirmed:

November 2022

EU consumer protection rules apply within the EEA — “and thus for Norwegian consumers”

March 2023

Confirms CJEU C-100/21: Consumers have a right to compensation from the manufacturer for damage caused by prohibited defeat devices

25 February 2026

Cites new CJEU C-666/23 and the principle of effectiveness: National rules making compensation “impossible or excessively difficult” are incompatible with EU law

This correspondence — three letters sent, three received over 3.5 years — is unique in the European Dieselgate landscape. No other actor has this level of institutional confirmation.
